It's noon according to Kishen's senses, but wherever he is, he can't tell if it's day or night. The trees clearly have nothing stopping them from growing as far as they could reach, and so the twisted branches covered in thick leaves stopped almost all light from touching the ground below. He shudders as cautiously he wanders deeper into the seemingly unwelcoming territory. Why Kishen is here? He's not sure, but he feels drawn to it somehow, like someone or something is calling him. He is scared, but the Lumin doesn't really know what else to do but press on.
He assumes he is alone despite the fact that his left side can hear all sorts of noises from the dark forest. The echoes of his hooves trekking on the slope are the only sure sound that he can pick up; the rest can be chalked up to paranoia, but who knows?
Kishen is unarmed, and the fact that he's not trained to fight doesn't help in his self-esteem either. He whimpers, wondering if anyone will hear him.

"Oh where am I now My lady..." Xephras says to himself, walking around the unknown place. If there is one con for being a wanderer, it's wandering somewhere one barely knows. But it can be pro...in a way. He hears the different noises, unsure if he's hearing things or it's true, he has absolutely no idea. But he's ready for it, or that is what he feels; he's never really fought anyone with a sword so he may hurt himself...or something. "I'm not scared...right my Lady?" he thinks, looking around the dark forest.
He may know how to fight...but is he ready to..if and when he must fight for his life? He shivers at the question he had asked himself.

((//luthien staggers in HGNHNGHN came from this thread:
At the Crossroads <- check it ouuut!))
Three beings, a pair of Wikens and a human (who is unconscious at the moment), found themselves walking in a dark forest, or at least, that's what the elf said. Vines hung low, strangling the branches above just to attain a sort of base for them to hold onto. The fog was thick, and a strong, foul stench filled the air they breathed in. There were strange buzzing noises, too, but Valandil said it was just some kind of "one-of-a-kind man-eating giant bug that we shouldn't be afraid of". Fiorex doesn't know whether to believe him or not.
A click of hooves could be heard in the distance.
"Do you hear that, Valandil?" Fiorex asked, Collete still unconscious on his back.
"I can hear the trees breathe, Fiorex," he looked at him, "However would I not be able to hear that awful clicking noise."
They trudged a bit more.
"It's getting kind of louder," Fiorex commented, "Can we maybe- err, go and see it or something?"
Valandil sighed, expression irate.
"Knowing you, I somewhat expected that."

Kishen's left ear detects a voice, one that he actually understands. This surprises at the same time elates him knowing that he isn't alone, and before he could even consider that this person may be a threat or something, he attempts to find the source of the voice, and for some reason the Lumin keeps hearing 'My Lady'. Who is this 'My Lady', he wonders. He has never heard of such a person. Are these people royalty?
Following just his left ear and not his eyesight is simply asking for trouble, and trouble he find when he trips over a thicket and lands almost face flat on the dirt; his body now covered in leaves, twigs and whatnot. He had yelped and now he whimpers once again, very much disliking the situation he's in.

Luca was high atop a tree. He was rather languorously smoking a certain roll of Syrenweed. He hears a kind of commotion- what kind of people are here by his home? How could they have gotten that far deep into Wiken Territory without being repelled by... certain other things?
He decides to leave the comfortable canopy of his treehouse-manse and to check these peculiar people out. "Who goes there, and in my part of the woods?" he cries. His words echo throughout the great expanse of the place.

Xephras sighs as he wanders around, praying to his goddess for encouragement and all that. He is lost, completely lost, nowhere to go, no idea where to go, though it's a feel of adventuring he guesses, trying to be optimistic. Then he hears something, something like a "thump" sound..as if someone tripped or something, he stays silent, trying to hear something else. Then he hears a yelp and a whimper following, he walks around some more, trying to follow the voice.
And hoping that the voice isn't something that can kill him.

The dark forest was an uncomfortable place to be in, but it was even more uncomfortable after hearing a thud, and a booming voice that echoed everywhere in the forest, repeating again and again. To have a sharp sense of hearing is a gift, yes, but at times like this, you'd wish you were deaf. Whoever that voice belonged to, anyway, was successful in scaring Fiorex, and could have possibly scared Collete if she was conscious. Valandil looked up- up into the tree branches.
"Should we tell the voice we're here, or somethin'?" Fiorex whispered to Valandil, who did not reply.
Fiorex could see the elf's lips move in a chant no louder than a whisper.
"We keep walking," Valandil spoke, dragging his feet back into their usual pace while Fiorex staggeringly followed.

Kishen pushes himself up quickly and takes a big gulp of air, finding that it's hard to breathe when you're surrounded by a big bush that could be filled with poisonous berries. Are they poisonous? One glance at them and he finds that, yes, they are, but only when eaten, so he mentally sighs in relief at that. Looking straight ahead of him, he sees a young man who looks as frightened as he is, but the fact that he's holding some sort of weapon scares him even more.
He lets out a loud cry as he scrambles back into the bushes, trying to hide himself and hoping to not get killed or worse.
"Kishen mean no harm!" he shouts as he closes his eyes and trembles despite only his antlers now seen from the thicket.

"This is Druren, the land of darkness." announced Luca in the same loud voice he had earlier used. "I don't know who you are, but I do know that some of you do not belong here! I am warning you- this land is a fearsome place, and is nowhere to go for the children of light!" He urged. It was not that he desired not these visitors, but Druren was filled with Dark Magic, the kind that ate away your soul or drive one mad. Only those with Druren blood could walk safely. There were great monsters and devilish Wiken, he was aware of that. He was one of them- but no, not tonight. Tonight, he was Verde, and he meant no harm.

He sees the wiken(?) and sighs in relief, since he seems to mean no harm. However, he realizes that he's scaring the young man with his sword as he lets out a loud cry, scrambling back into the bushes. Xephras puts away his crystal sword and goes a bit closer to him.
"Hey, hey it's okay..I'm not gonna hurt you..." he says, calmly as he approaches the young wiken.

Fiorex shuddered under the booming voice. "Valandil," he stammered (he didn't mean to, but you know), "Are we actually going to get out of this forest? I mean, I know it's the quickest way to the shore, but I've got this nasty feeling that we won't get out of here." Valandil did not reply, but instead, continued chanting. Fiorex had no idea what he was saying, and reading lips was hard, you know? It didn't seem like a language he knew, anyway.
"Don't succumb to the darkness," the elf finally spoke, "I've been here before."
They trudged across the muddy surface of the ground, and soon, hear a voice. Valandil squinted, concentrating on the noise.
"It seems we've met again, human boy," a voice rang in the young man's head like a spark of electricity.

"You aren't?" Kishen asks timidly, not risking to show himself. The poisonous berries are dangerously close to his mouth and he wonders if he should throw one at the stranger to see what he does, but he's paralyzed from fear, and if this person really meant no harm, why give it to him in a form of a yummy looking fruit? Without him knowing, a couple of said berries have already been shaken off from his little performance and are scattered on the ground in front of the young man.
He gathers up some courage and asks, "What are you doing here?"

Luca sighs, and gets off from his tree. If the people couldn't find their way or are unwilling to, he'd personally be willing to escort them out.
He sees a group of people and clears the land around them. At least, the land here still obeyed him, and they wouldn't, if he were anybody else. "Oh, hello, visitors. What brings you to Druren at this time of the night?" he says in a reasonably pleasant voice. He did not desire to alarm them, and while his earlier clearing off of the dense foliage may have surprised them, he did not want them to be afraid of him because of his voice.

"I'm not...I promise.." He says, kneeling down to his level, looking down at the berries. Xephras looks at him "I was wandering around the wiken territory and I drifted off here..." he says, sitting down and finding a comfortable place to stay. "I didn't mean to scare you...I'm sorry.." he says, trying to make him feel a bit more comfortable.

Fiorex looked at the man in front of them. He wasn't quite sure what he was, but he knew for certain that the voice it had matched the loud one awhile ago. He didn't really react, either, as he didn't know how to. Valandil gazed at the creature, as if he knew him from before.
Fiorex looked at Valandil, waiting for him to reply in behalf of the whole group.
Sighing, Valandil spoke up.
"We are just taking a route towards the shore, sire," he said in a low tone, "If you allow us, may we pass through your forest?"
