"The darkness of Druren is not like the darkness you humans are used to. Our darkness is rooted in magic." Luca said, frowning. "Why have you come here for the feline Wiken?"
He turned around to Fiorex. "Would you like to go with him" Luca asked.

Fiorex looked at the earthen wall, and gulped, his fur standing on one end. "What?" he said a bit too loud, and almost frantically. I mean, it was a human- probably a Nirvanian by the looks of it. They might kill him or skin him or hang him on a wall or something, and he didn't want that. Who would?
"Why would they want me? Hardly anybody outside the Territory knows me," he grumbled.
Valandil kept his bow in his hands, fixated on the wall in front of them.
"You cannot- and will not- take Fiorex," he said, unusually menacingly, "Not even for the most important of cases that your human race needs from us will I ever let you have him."

Collete instinctively reaches for her bow and arrows. She then realizes she doesnt have them. "Fluffy! What did you do to my arrows?"

"What are you talking about? I can't even use a bow," Fiorex grumbled, "I picked you up as you were."
Valandil still stood firm. "State your business with my companion," he snapped.
Fiorex put a hand to his chin, thinking. Snapping his fingers, he looks at Collete with wide eyes, "Maybe you dropped it or something 'fore you fainted?"

"Ah shoot..." She kicks a tree. "That was my hunting bow! Now I gotta make a new one!" She glares at the stranger, and grabs a knife from her belt. "Not my forte... but this will do nicely... Come any closer and your my new prey."
She steps forward, closer to the stranger. "Why do you want Fiorex!"

Valandil narrowed his eyes, and refused to lower his bow. An unnatural light glowed about his forehead. His bow, crafted by his own father out of dragon scales, was light, but incredibly durable. His arrows gleamed- even in the fog, its tip waiting for a sense of movement out of the wall. He muttered something in a foreign language nobody could quite understand. If you'd ask me, I think it was a curse- given the situation at hand.
"Bait?" he spat. "Of all things, you choose to use my companion as bait?" His raised his voice, and that was the first time Fiorex had ever seen him "lose his cool" (that's what the cool kids say, right?).
"Do not take me as a light obstacle, human," he growled, "You cannot take Fiorex."

She chuckles. "That's all I need to hear. I kinda agree with Elf-Eyes here. You're not taking Fiorex!" She prepares to lunge at the stranger. "If you take him. You will die. Right here. Right now." She growls.

Valandil's ears twitched. I mean, yeah, he appreciated the moral support of the young human girl, but come on. Seriously? Elf-Eyes? That's even worse than some of the names Fiorex' gave him, and let's just say for the eleven years they've been together, that's quite a lot of names.
Fiorex stood quietly behind the two. He grumbled. Not just any grumble, folks. He grumbled in embarrassment.
"God," he mumbled to himself, scratching the back of his head. "Why use me as bait?" he asked the man behind the earthen wall, "I mean, my biological dad abandoned me. I'm pretty sure he won't want me back."

While the others were discussing, Luca thought about what he had to do next. He tried to summon Nature- here, she had a different, darker voice than when she was in Verde, but she was Nature nonetheless. Suddenly, the winds grew amazingly strong, and in a while, a great tree- like one of those in legends, uprooted itself and swung at the men from the helicopters.

Seeing all the men come down from whatever transportation they are riding in, Collete knew that this was going to be a long long fight. She looks at Valandril. "Hey. Elf-Eyes. Do you have a spare bow and arrow or something?" She looks at the mob of people approaching them, with malicious intent in their eyes. "I really prefer fighting with those weapons."

Valandil looked at Collete flatly. Oh, how he utterly, absolutely, exceptionally loathed that name. He dealt with it anyway.
"No," he said, looking at the men around him and readying his bow. "Do you know how to wield a sword?" he asked Collete, slightly irritated at the sight of her dagger. He unclipped the longsword off of his belt and tossed it to her direction.
"If you can, then use it," he said in his usual sharp tone.
Fiorex, on the other hand, bared his claws, hissing at every human he saw, other than Collete, that is.

She grabs the sword and tosses it in her hands. It's surprisingly light for a sword it's size. She looks at Valandril and smiles. "I'm a Lenarian Royal Guard. We all know how to use swords."
She gives the two of them a wink, before he lunges at the assailants, slicing every single one left and right. with e elvish sword. "Elf-Eyes! This is an amazing sword!" She shouts excitedly, while she beats them down one by one. "Do you think you can make me one?"

Luca hides away in the shadow of a tree. From his vantage point, he could still see the great behemoth of a tree-monster attacking at the men who were falling from the helicopters. He does not know if he should join in the skirmish. But he knew what Nature wanted, but what does she want of him?

Fiorex blinks, staring at the man. Oh, he didn't just touch my hair, he thought. Haha, no. I'm just kidding. That was my comment. Anyway, back to the story.
"What are you even lookin' for," he grumbled, approaching the man cautiously, "What exactly does this have to do with me?"
Valandil pulled out an arrow out of one of the bodies. "Such a waste," he said, observing the projectile, "This could have been used for greater purposes." Shooting an icy glare at the human with the mechanical arm, he follows Fiorex, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Let us depart, Fiorex," he said rather sharply, "Dawn will come soon."

She brandishes her weapon to the stranger. "You got some nerve to do this!" She hisses at him and lunges towards the man, the elvish sword extremely close to his face. "The next time I see you. It will be an arrow to your heart!" She makes a swipe with the sword, nearly missing his face. "And a sword through your neck!"
She makes several strikes at the man, all only narrowly missing its intended target by millimeters. "You have been warned."
